Teaching

Design education is rooted in the right-brain and left-brain exchange of intuition and intellect. This is an essential discourse of “what is” versus “what if?” — working and reworking the idea to reach the aha moment, to imagine and realize the previously undiscovered.

My syllabus states that “the design process is just as significant as the resulting design artifact(s).” Engaging the design process is an invaluable exercise in research, ideation, critical thinking, and craftsmanship.
