The Ubuntu Project
“Ubuntu” is a South African word that means humanity towards others. Internationally renowned graphic designer Armando Milani invited designers from around the world to communicate the concept of Ubuntu for an international traveling poster exhibition. The exhibition debuted at the Rotonda della Besana in Milan, Italy. This typographic illustration is inspired by the double helix structure of DNA. The fact that all human beings share more than 99% of their DNA is testimony to the reality of our global community and the insignificance of our differences.
